You don’t need to be fixed. You need to be seen, understood, and supported in who you are now, and who you want to become.
Healing and growth happens in a relationship, not in techniques, not in advice. I can use a flawless intervention from the best research-based therapy, but if we don’t have a genuine connection, it won’t work. Healing is possible, but it’s not linear, or fixed, it’s evolving. Healing is sometimes messy, it’s often repetitive and requires courage.
I do believe that you can change. That your suffering doesn’t have to be permanent. That with the right support and enough courage, you are capable of healing, growth and change.
Let me be clear about something: I don’t fix people. I can’t fix you. Nobody can fix another human being.
What I can do is create a space where you feel safe enough to look at the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding. I can provide frameworks for understanding your experience. I can help you develop skills to experience and manage difficult emotions.
But the actual work of changing? That’s all you.
Every client who makes meaningful progress does so because of their own courage, commitment, and willingness to sit with discomfort. I hold the flashlight. You’re the one chopping the wood. Therapy is about us connecting - being present- me present for you and you present for yourself.
