I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois and Indiana.
I hold Master Degrees in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Sociology from Illinois State University.
Since starting my clinical career, regular professional training and my own personal therapy is essential to my growth and effectiveness as a therapist. In my over 20 years of experience, I have completed extensive training in AEDP Therapy for individuals, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I am also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals.
In addition to the above, know that I'm human too, that I struggle, that I don’t have all the answers, that I'm on my own journey. I am not some enlightened sage who has surpassed human struggle. I hope that makes me more accessible to you rather than less. And maybe that’s the most essential thing I can tell you: Despite my imperfections, I have experienced healing and growth from dealing with my own dark places with support, and you can too.
